Faiza Farah


Faiza began her career as a community organizer in Seattle, WA. Mission driven work has always been at the center of her professional career. She has worked in the Bay Area non-profits in both finance and operations for the last eight years. The executive producer and host of The Third Space Show, Faiza is a talented communicator and idea generator. She was previously the operations manager at Tikkun Magazine, where she improved the operational systems, processes, and policies in support of organization’s mission. Her prior experience includes working as a research at UC Berkeley and a multi-year consulting engagement with the Earth Island Institute in support of their annual fundraiser. Beyond finance, the scoop of her work at Cutting Edge Capital is identifying and fostering community partners while maintaining a balanced budget and playing a lead organizing role in the launch of its new nonprofit, Cutting Edge Institute. Faiza holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Finance from UC Berkeley. GO BEARS!

Nicole Grabos

Operations & Communications

Nicole, an Indiana University Alumni, graduated with a BS in Geology and a Communications Minor. Her diverse experience includes management, communications, and environmental consulting. Prior to joining Cutting Edge Capital, Nicole had previously worked as an environmental consultant for Roux Associates Inc. As a staff geologist, she supervised construction development on multiple brownfield real estate sites across the Bay Area. Nicole’s additional experience includes the management of two adjoining businesses, Thrive Acupuncture and Marquette Perk & Pantry, where she created financial & operational systems, developed marketing strategies, and specialized in client relations.
